I realize that the holidays are long gone – And at least here in Denmark, the crescendo to Christmas is so grand that it really doesn’t require an encore. However, I realized that in an attempt to avoid computer screens over the Christmas holiday, I didn’t upload some of the lovely images of a Christmas-y Copenhagen.
And besides, after a mild 2 weeks, it’s snowing again, so winter is still here in full effect.
Tivoli, by day:

The city and Tivoli, by night (can you smell the roasting pecans and hear the busker music?):

I’ve mentioned the impressiveness of the New Year’s Eve fireworks. Photos and even video don’t do it justice. However, I don’t think I’ve mentioned the New Year’s Day aftermath of liter that follows! It is a remarkably horrible mess! Yet, rest assured – in typical, efficient, Danish fashion, a crew comes around and cleans it all up on January 2nd!

Vandals at work…although this kind isn’t so bad. 🙂
