Last week during winter break, we joined some friends to visit the royal stables, right here, in the middle of the city, at Christiansborg Palace. The beautiful, white, Kladrubers are the horses used by the Royal Family for official events.
The carriages used for special Royal occasions are also kept here. The girls might have been more excited about these than they were about the horses. Can you blame them? Can’t you just imagine Cinderella climbing up into this? Dahlia stood stock-still, staring into this coach for a few minutes. I think I could see her imagination dancing wildly with images of a princess, lifting up her gown and gracefully placing a glass slipper on that first step.
